At Lyons Elementary, we envision a school community where every student, staff member, and teacher thrive in an empowering learning environment built on consistent and insistent rigorous academic practices. We are committed to fostering lifelong learners and critical thinkers who are prepared to succeed and lead in a global community.

Core Beliefs

Our belief is that excellence comes from implementing and delivering effective campus-wide instructional practices that include learning expectations for teachers and students. A strong instructional foundation consists of a well-managed classroom with high academic and behavioral expectations. By setting these expectations, our students and teachers are given the opportunity to interact positively with their peers and demonstrate student understanding through rigorous classroom data driven lessons and collaborative Professional Learning Communities.
